West End Diner - Brodheadsville

The service is fantastic, the food is good, and the soups are delicious. We'll definitely visit again when we're in the area.

I went to the West End Diner for dinner with my family on Saturday at 5:30 PM. There was only one waitress for all the tables, and she did an amazing job, especially considering it was her first day on the job. A customer even helped clear the dishes from the tables. The food was decent.

After finally sitting down, we waited about 20 minutes for someone to take our drink orders. Once we ordered our drinks, it took another 15 minutes for someone to come back to take our food orders—still no drinks in sight. We received our drinks about 10 minutes before our food arrived, which was disappointing. The food was bland, and some of it was burnt. While we understood it might be busy and expected some delay, it was frustrating to see people who were seated after us being served their drinks and meals before we were. Throughout our visit, no one checked in on us to see if we needed anything or if everything was okay. After paying our bill, we decided to leave and find breakfast elsewhere. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

Go for an breakfast table, best breakfast option imho. this place has quickly become a family lover!

Delicious salads. My husband had the grilled chicken salad and I had the ceader salad with grilled chicken. The salads were nice and cold and the chicken warm from the grill. We both had unsweet ice tea. The only reason I did not give a 5 star was the ceaser salad. It was made with iceberg lettuce and not romaine lettuce. It was still delious.
