Very disappointed. It says French restaurant but it wasn't at all, very strange food. Table and chair were very uncomfortable and service was poor. I wouldn't recomend at all this place.
BaoBurg offers tasty food at a great price, all within a cozy atmosphere. My boyfriend has lived in Williamsburg for nearly a decade, and it ranks among his top ten favorite spots—quite an achievement since he is a very discerning foodie. We appreciate the story behind BaoBurg, so be sure to visit and ask your server about its origins!
What a fantastic blend of Spanish, French, and Asian influences! We tried the maple and soy glazed chicken wings, cheesy truffle fries, crispy Brussels sprouts, and coconut mussels. We also had lamb stew and finished our meal with banana Nutella crepes and banana tamales. Everything was absolutely perfect, and we enjoyed every bite. A huge bravo to the chef behind the kitchen—she's a true genius! This spot is a hidden gem in NYC, offering great food and wonderful service with a unique concept. Don’t hesitate to give this place a try; it’s an excellent spot in Brooklyn!
The cocktails were decent, but I wouldn't recommend the sangria—it just wasn't worth it. The cod tapas dish was definitely the highlight. The duck noodles were average, but I really enjoyed the cheese plate, truffle fries with bacon and cheese, and the crepe was excellent too!
