Cafe Alula - Brooklyn

As a resident of the neighborhood, I've had the opportunity to visit this restaurant a couple of times. The food is truly outstanding, making it an ideal spot for a casual lunch, coffee, or brunch. However, there's a downside: the woman at the front is quite rude and unpleasant. It's frustrating to spend your hard-earned money only to be met with a negative attitude. Although the restaurant itself is quite nice and the food is exceptional, there are plenty of other places nearby where you can enjoy a great meal and feel welcomed. It's disappointing that the overall experience is marred by the unfriendly front-of-house staff.

This charming little café in Greenpoint is fantastic! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the coffee and food are delightful. Be sure to visit this hidden gem in the neighborhood!

What a delightful discovery, and we're so pleased! The menu offers some truly unique options, especially for vegetarians, and everything is creatively prepared. The cauliflower pita was delicious and had a wonderful cinnamon flavor, especially when paired with some additional dips. The tuna was great as well; even my 11-year-old enjoyed it. My 13-year-old loved the sausage sandwich. I had to keep my family from hogging the dips and the soft, seasoned pita! We'll certainly be ordering from here again!
