Island Pops - Brooklyn

Get their vegan banana bread and pair it with their Island Coconut ice cream heaven on earth! I’m not even remotely vegan. Seems they have wide variety of seasonal flavors, so I tried this combo a few months back but forgot to post about it. Returned again today for a pint to go, sorrel rum is one of my favorites here but I decided to try the black cake flavor just because I picked up a slice of black cake from Royal Bakery down the street… ended up pairing very nicely!! Was pleasantly surprised by the generous chunks of black cake in the ice cream… arguably as good or better than Royal Bakery (our little secret! . Never tried a flavor I didn’t like, and they’ll kindly let you try a few before deciding, and give good personalized recommendations. Small counter with a bench and bistro table outside to enjoy on a nice day. Please support these lovely people on Nostrand Ave.

Lenice and Alexis were such amazing people . They gave us nutmeg ice cream made same way from The spice island Grenada and it was amazing and perfect . I am so happy and delighted you have to visit .highly recommend !!!
