King David Tacos - Brooklyn

The migas taco was good, but the bean and cheese was horrible. I also didnt recieve the coffee I ordered

So order these tacos from dash door app. Boy did they deliver fast but then again it’s not surprising as live close by. Taco hit the spot the ingredients taste fresh. Was surprised at how small the tacos was but amount of ingredients inside made up for it. Going be order from here again as good breakfast on the go is what I need.

There are two lunch tacos, both on the inside of the aluminum wrapper and extremely small. paid 5.50 for each taco, this place is much overrated.

One of those rare breakfast taco spots in NYC, an ode to ATX. As an austinite, born and raised, I appreciate any place in nyc that brings that nostalgic austin food flare. Tacos are solid. I'm a corn tortilla gal but I love a cheap on the go flour tortilla taco. Of course there's better if you're in austin, but you're in NY and sure you could find more expensive gourmet options here, but that's not what a breakfast taco is about. It's about cheap and tasty. The tacos here remind me of Austin's famous Tacodeli, which is arguably not the best, but an austin staple nonetheless. Now KTD's QUESO is where it's at. There's very few options in Manhattan and BK for good Tex mex queso, and KDT nailed it. It's so good, so flavorful and the right tex mex texture. 5 stars for the taco variety, stellar queso and bringing a much needed austin taco joint to my neighborhood. And breakfast tacos ALL day! Thank you!!

Being an Austin native, I was excited to try this place out. The short of it take the salsas home and keep looking. The tacos are alright but not Austin good. (Vera Cruz, Torchies, Joe'sb Tysons etc ..)If they were modeling anything it might have been Rudy's BBQ grab and go taco model with the tacodeli size. But I wouldn't chalk this up to an Austin taco experience or the like mind. The salsas carries the tacos and unfortunately that's where the highlight is.Will keep waiting for a proper taco experience.
