However, I did try some of the miso ramen and the all star ramen that my friends ordered, which were both excellent. I will definitely come back but will opt for a different vegetarian ramen next time. The seared edamame and veggie gyoza appetizers were also good. They have a nice happy hour with $5 beers and cheap wine.
This is my favorite ramen spot! The Black Garlic Ramen is the best I've ever had in NYC. I highly recommend it!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The music was good, but the acoustics were just okay. The broth wasn't fantastic, and the noodles were decent. The egg wasn't a traditional ajitama, in my opinion.
Noodles were nice and chewy, veggies were crunchy (in a good way), just not a ton of flavor. But for the price I won't complain too hard.
Cozy and intimate ramen shop with smooth and quick service. Ramen was good, just slightly above average. Felt like it wasn’t as hot as I woulda wanted and the flavor could have just been slightly stronger. For the price I felt it was actually very fair and I’m happy they didn’t price their ramen crazy expensive. The gyoza and tuna poke were really delicious and were a great way to start the meal.
