Rutledge Hamburgers - Brownsville

A place you can call home. It's very small but the food and prices make up for it. The people working are very nice and are like family. I spent 20 dollars for 5 burgers and cokes with jalapeños. When you walking you head straight and order by the cashier and they will take your order.

These burgers were the best years ago. Not so much anymore. Super thin meat, like a spread of meat paste, extra large tomato and the flavor was not what it once was. Noticed the former people who ran this place are no longer there and it shows. Heard from the grapevine the former cook is now at La Guera burgers, which are way better. All this place has now is the nostalgia but that's it

This place brings back awesome memories of my childhood it’s one of the best burgers you’ll find in Brownsville Texas! I can guarantee you that!!
