This restaurant is an ideal place to eat when you want a meal for lunch, after shopping or popping out to eat in the evening. Reasonable prices and you know what you are going to get when you read the menu.

We decided to stay a bit longer to catch up since we hadn't seen each other in a while. When it came time to pay the bill, the lady behind the bar seemed confused and ended up charging us incorrectly. We tried to split the bill and she ended up refunding money back to us, only to realize that she had overcharged us for a meal that we never even received in the first place. We were too frustrated to complain any further and left feeling dissatisfied with the customer service. The workers apologized profusely as we left, but we were overall disappointed with the experience. I even mentioned that I work in a restaurant myself and we always check every item we serve, so it was shocking to receive frozen food. It's a shame to revisit an old favorite pub and find that it hasn't changed for the better.

Family friendly, good food, good service. Very fair value, decent portions and great waffles. Don’t let the council estate exterior put you off. Always intimidating to go to local community pubs in case of “you’re not a regular” mentality. But it’s very welcoming, would definitely...recommend to anyone.

We go to this Pub fairly regular for lunch. The service is excellent, staff efficient and polite .Food is as good as other locals in the area and half the price. Worth a try
