We arrived around 15:00 when many other places nearby were shut. Arriving after the lunch rush meant that a lot of vegan options were sold out. I had a large-looking salad bowl that was quite deceptive, very little filling and mostly leaves. The bowl was around €11 and a portion of pineapple with some pomegranate seeds was c €5. Acceptable if you're in a pinch, close to a lot of nearby attractions, but not something I'd choose again. For anyone familiar, Pret has better portions for a smaller price. All vegan options are clearly labelled and the ingredients are clear, although listed in French and Dutch. The branch is large with seating outside and in, accessible toilets too.
This restaurant is a perfect spot to relax and unwind after exploring the museums in the area. Please note that this review was written before social distancing measures were put in place.
There are multiple options available at this restaurant, including hot, cold, or pre-packaged items. Customers can choose to sit either downstairs or upstairs. There are plenty of seats and ample space to sit comfortably. The ingredients of all items are listed, but in French and Dutch. I ordered the pre-packaged rice, red beans, nuts, and a strawberry smoothie, which were delicious and ideal for a mid-afternoon snack.
This cafe and store combo focuses on serving organic and sustainably sourced food. There are several vegetarian options clearly marked with a green square, though I only found one soup, a couple of pre-packaged salads, and some dark chocolate bars that were vegan-friendly.
