San Hai Chinese - Bunbury

I ordered food from this restaurant and was told it would be ready for pickup in 30 minutes. After half an hour, my order still wasn't ready, so I waited another 45 minutes. An employee came outside and asked me to be patient. Meanwhile, they handed food to a man who had only been waiting for 20 minutes. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially for the $50 I spent.

I visited this restaurant to try their lunch special, and I was pleasantly surprised by the value. For an extra dollar, you can upgrade to the special fried rice, which comes with some shrimp and BBQ pork. The Sweet and Sour Pork was undoubtedly one of the best I’ve had; the coating was perfectly caramelized—not just cooked and doused in the sweet and tangy sauce, but truly well-prepared without being mushy. Great job on that! I also appreciated that they had outdoor seating. I’ll definitely be returning.

Hot and fresh with excellent flavors and service. Good price! Serving sizes always make you feel full. The 'restaurant' part is very small with only about 8 or so tables of 4, more of a diner really, also has 3 or 4 outside Alfresco tables for when the weather is nice, in the heart of a mixed retail place with it's own shop front to a parking place. I often call to order so it's ready to pick up when I get there. They also offer a napkin and plastic fork Spork with taking meals. I love my Satay and these guys do it very well, beef and veggie satay with fried rice, try it you won 't be disappointed! I would this restaurant 9.5 stars of 10 only because the old owners used to cut water cetus in the beef saty that just made it heaven!
