We had the desire to take a small drink (e.g. strawberry) and buy something after the prices at the cucumber tour and hanging out in the factory. We were told from the head of the house in an unfriendly way that it is not (dry shield), that is a private property (we had nothing evil before) and that everything is to be done here. We wondered what the many signs and sales halls, baskets and the like would fulfill for one purpose and go to retirement. It should also be noted that we had acted calmly, we were not drowned or otherwise noticeable, which would have justified this behaviour.
We had booked the herbal migration with subsequent preparation of dishes with wild herbs. It went from 14:00 to 17:00. The atmosphere was just great. We have learned a lot from Mr. Franke, who would go through his funny path as an individual. This event was also super exciting and educational at the same time for our daughter. She was totally excited to learn what to do from herbs and flowers. With 11 people it wasn't too crowded so everyone had something. After eating together, everyone also got pesto, herbal butter and herbal merry at home. Everything in a very nice afternoon and highly recommended, even or only with children.
Great warm welcome from an outdated sympathetic Mr. Franke, here called the Spreewaldkoch. Class spore forest typical spices and products, you can learn much more! Always worth a visit!
We spent a great day with Peter Franke in his herbal factory. At the very beginning we were warmly welcomed with fresh drinks and an exciting introduction to the world of herbs. Cooking and preparing food has been great fun and hours have passed away as in flight. We have prepared and eaten various dishes (pot, quartet, salad, pork fillet, fish, quiche, ice cream... . The house and the kitchen are very traditional and lovingly furnished, a real original in the Spreewald. Mr. Franke takes a lot of time for his guests and has to tell exciting and funny stories at the same time. Our expectations were definitely exceeded. If you want to learn about the Spreewald and its herbs, you should not miss a course with Peter Franke. Thanks for the great day!
