I called again and she was rude. I asked what kind of fish was in the taco she asked me what it said on the website and then told me it was haddock, I found that odd so I looked it was Bassa. She was huffing and couldn't care less about my order.
It's the worst restaurant. The staff don't care. And they are awful and they are disrespectful, especially the bartender MEGAN. The worst bartender ever. Megan's attitude was the worst, she didn't care and it took her hours to serve us. They shouldn't have people like that. very disrespectful, and without desire to work and attend. Don't be ridiculous and save yourself problems. Or I post here what you sent me and how you confused me with someone else and your threats. better serve and improve your restaurant. I have visited your restaurant several times. To add another comment, I'd like to share an unpleasant experience I had with the owner of this establishment. I received an email from them where they made threats and confused me with someone else. I am sharing this email to show the kind of people who run this restaurant. I have no intention of seeking revenge against anyone, but I must say that the restaurant and their staff did not provide a good experience.
I am a local patron and visit the Slye Fox once a month depending on the live music. I have been frequenting this bar for decades (30 Years) and tonight will be my last visit! My drink of choice is a wine spritzer with soda water. Tonight, I witnessed Ashley Y (barkeep) pour less than an ounce of wine, straight from the bottle (without the decanter) into a glass with soda water and serve me. When confronted, Ashley Y treated me with a condescending and rude attitude exclaiming that she did not need a decanter because she was a professional.
Decent entertainment. Good service. Almost affordable. Location is convenient and place is relatively clean.
Slye Fox review I 've driven by The Slye Fox on New Street many times and the façade intrigued me because I enjoy a British pub. Even though it was situated in an unattractive (grubby) plaza, the pub front looked inviting. The announcement of New Management and accompanying specials convinced us to try their breakfast special. It was two for one. How bad could it be? First impression? It was an adorable British style pub crammed into a narrow mall unit. Service? Lousy The waitress failed to welcome us. She simply appeared after several minutes and asked for our order. While we were stating our order she didn 't write it down, Instead, she fluffed her hair while we ordered. About five minutes later, she returned to ask for our orders again. This time she appeared to write it down. There were only five other couples when we ordered. Yet, we waited more than 15 minutes for our food. The menu listed a Scottish sausage patty so I asked for that. The waitress responded with We 're out of sausage. So I asked about the link sausage. She didn 't know and she disappeared for at least five minutes before she returned with the answer no link sausage either . When we sat down, I noticed at least two tables with cups and utensils left from previous customers. The waitress cleared one of them before we finished. The other table was still uncleared when we left. It was evident that the parties at those tables have left before we arrived and the waitress couldn 't be bothered to clear them. She wasn 't busy. It occurred to me that this person had never worked as a waitress before. Was she related to the owner? Did the owner realize how badly she was hurting the restaurant? Food? Filling but... lousy It 's difficult to mess up bacon and eggs but the Slye Fox managed to do that. My scrambled eggs were browned almost burned. Not what I wanted. The bacon was the very slim bacon strips used by people that don 't want the bother of cooking bacon or the pleasure of eating real bacon. It tasted like salty cardboard. The potatoes were described as home fries but they were really hash browns. Conclusion It was cheap and lousy. No more breakfast for me at the Slye Fox.
