Tiny Kitchen - Burnaby

Since we were only here for a snack we decided to go with the bubble waffle. It was only $3.50 which is cheaper than most places out there in the area. Unfortunately, the bubble waffle maker wasn't on so we had to wait 10 mins for our order. Unfortunately, the bubble waffle wasn't very crispy on the outside so it really added that bit of texture that makes bubble waffle so amazing. It was also lacking filling because we found it to be quite hollow on the inside. What it didn't lack in was flavor because it was sweet and almost creamy because of how rich the batter was.

I ordered the beef curry with rice and the spicy beef noodles. The curry was unfortunate very bland. I felt like the instant curry would have even more flavour. There was barely any beef, it was mostly potato. I imagined spicy beef noodles would be similar to Taiwanese beef noodle soup but this one is completely different. Again, the broth is very bland. The portion is quite small. I would not come back because the quality and the portion did not meet up with the price

Not sure why the reviews are not higher, I quite enjoy coming here. Good Taiwanese food. I like their egg and tomato noodles. Service is decent.

The worst shredded potato I have ever had. The taste was very off putting and too sour. With those seeds that numb your mouth. First time I did not finish my favourite potato dish. The beef noodle was just average. I would never come back.

Food is simple but delicious! I took two people here and they love it. Bubble teas are also delicious, they taste like they are steeped enough and not too sweet.
