I've eaten. eat well. menu on chalkboard and daily specialties. weine after glass, jug or bottle. friendly efficient service I had home-specificity tete de veau. not as scary as it sounds. my starter included snails and boudin blanc! the more conservative...can have suppe and burger. all looked excellent

This restaurant, which is located in a rather not discript street in the city center of caen, offers beautiful dishes with combinations that I would like to have experienced again, were not the case that the restaurant was closed on Sunday. never tasted chicks in such a...Nice package, even the duck was grilled to perfection and the offered wein was perfect with the duck.

.. but a few details to fix in the plates like an undercooked bone-marrow,... . The place is lovely and cosy and the waiters were kind and helpful. My boyfriend invited me there for my birthday and it's been an pleasant evening :

Evening set meal at 21 Euros. The dishes were very inventive and different. We had leg of lamb pre sale which is fed upon the salt marshes of Western France. Very tasty and easy to eat served with small portions of different vegetables, Lyonaise potatoes,...mashed sweet potatoes, mashed celeriac, courgette, carrot, green beans etc. For a sweet I had cafe gourmand which similarly had different components, tarte tatin, lemon sorbet, caramelised apples. All very delicious. This was all very creative and a really very enjoyable meal and so much better than other good meals I had in Normandy. Really outstanding.

We ate dinner at La Tomette on the final evening of a 2 1/2 week trip. We loved the food and the intimate atmosphere of the restaurant. Highly recommended.
