Area 4 has the most incredible pizza in a quirky shop with a fantastic atmosphere. The service is outstanding, and the staff is delightful. The mushroom pizza is incredibly delicious; I can't quite pinpoint the magic in it, but it's fantastic! The cherry bacon with garlic is also to die for. If you're looking to add some greens, definitely try the brittle salad with hazelnuts—you won’t be disappointed!
The best pizza I've had in Boston! The atmosphere was fun without being overly loud or cramped. The service was friendly, and the staff took our group’s food allergies seriously and respectfully.
I love A4 but last night was a miss, it was exceptionally loud would be great to have some foam on the ceilings just to dampen it a bit especially when every single table is booked with lab holiday parties etc. Everyone was literally shouting to be heard. The pizza was soaking wet even after waiting for it to cool a few minutes, like disintegrating on the middle of the pizza pan, and we had to scrape it onto the plate to eat it. Tasted good but not quite pizza...Server swapped out with another server at the end of our meal and I wish we had got our box and check at that moment because after 30 minutes no one had come by to check on us. We were just sitting there in a mostly empty restaurant as all the servers were busy cleaning up and bussing the rest of the restaurant. Had to get out of my seat and talk to our former server and the manager to get our check.
Service was not very friendly or attentive although the manager was nice. Pizza was fine enough. Not the best I’ve had, but better than average.
