Main of scampi monkfish was also excellent available in starter and main course sizes note portions are generous so order accordingly Greedily we devoured a portion of chips with the scampi so not my most calorie friendly meal but one of my most enjoyable in Dingle. I also recommend the Chart house for a more a more formal restaurant experience Lovely friendly staff who are kept busy buzzing through the pub serving their happy customers Good with allergies Tip : Book ahead as it’s a busy spot with a super reputation for good food
Phenomenal array of cakes and pastries, and nice coffee too. This was the first stop every day for our recent stay in Dingle. Highly recommend a visit to collect morning tea, or lunch on the go.
To address the outdoor dining advice, Ashe's have created a coffee and bakery, with really good coffee (FIXX) and truly delicious baked goods. The carrot cake is a joy, wonderfully light. The Bakewell with fresh raspberries is delicious and there is a wide variety to tempt any sweet tooth. The Toastees are very good and beautifully presented. With lots of place to sit outdoors this was a particular piece of heaven that we returned to during our stay in the Kingdom, all accompanied by friendly service.
I’ve never been to this place, in fact I don’t even know where it is. Trip advisor emailed me telling me how great I was and to just keep on going with my reviews so I picked the one with the picture of a bar. I miss bars. I wish I owned one (in a world without damn Covid) and if I did own one, I’d make my bar look like this one.
Always a pleasure to grab some grub in this famous old pub... chowder is out of this world.... washed down with a tasty Guinness...
