I'm born and breed in USA and know the difference - again I was hoping ! First and foremost .. SERVICE ! It's a hallmark of any American bar ... this had none ... Lining up at the bar to order food while others try to get a drink ? Not really good enough. The food really is average at best and I'm being nice. You can't just call it American it might pay off if it was. There's a great difference between Australian hotdogs and the much better American ones. Trips to USA are one $1200 return ... my advise is travel and take a look. Service - food - real American food. I'll pay to eat some old sports bar favourites. Wings ? Order hotdogs and have them shipped over ... was that footling hotdog $17 ? I understand what a few of the other die hard USA sports fans are saying here ... you might consider even showing recorded American sports like old super bowls or World Series ? I understand live sports end about 4pm here but that's the whole thing without the package it's just an expensive hamburger and that pig sandwich ... as luck would have it we weren't at a real American bar as if we were you'd not get payment for that pulled pork sandwich. Over there they are spoiled for choice and they quickly avoid places that don't serve quality. I would have bought a few more drinks if ever asked ??? It really wasn't that busy ... just not interested in making the extra sales I guess ? Best of luck !
It's a hidden place behind Ugly's pizza in Caringbah - you enter through a fridge door...! And at the back this awesome little pub like place with the best greasy food in town - you must try their hotdogs and waffles fries...! They are to die for!Heaps of TVs to watch games and lots of different drinks to enjoy whilst watching them so come with a group of friends
If your a ex pat, lived in the states and looking for a sports bar or just looking to re live that unique American experience - THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU!!!!This is a cringe worthy attempt at trying to replicate a culture with a resounding fail, equivalent to an American thinking that kangaroos hop around the CBDI couldn't even watch American sports???? If i wanted to see grey hound racing or V8's i could have gone to the corner pub, and as far as the price - $30 for nachos and a beer? Everyone scattering around desperately taking orders , it felt like just another pub With the exorbitant price tag. It's a shame no one in Sydney has even thoughtof doing a American sports bar because this certainly isn't one, a very shallow experience indeed!!!!!!!!!
Great food, cool as a cucumber bar, darkly lit, cool little booths, sports on all TV, great place for beer, small or big feed.
I have been coming here quite a bit since the opening, and I must say they have greatly improved with their service!I am happy that the onion rings are back on the menu!Top picks: loaded waffle fries & buffalo wings. The fries are delicious - pro tip ask for extra cheese, and the wings are incredible. The spicy sauce is the right amount of spicy. Beware the XXL. It burned a hole in my tongue.Top value: cheeseburger onion rings. These are weird but for $15 you get 3 hamburger patties deep fried in a onion ring and all the condiments to build a cheeseburger. Smart!Wasn't a fan of; the Huxley burger. I've had it a few times and it can be hit and miss, which sucks because it could be epic.Pro tip: book. Do not expect to walk in on a Saturday night and get a seat straight away, especially if there is sport on!
