Had a great dinner. Our server was nice and attentive. The seafood chowder was a flavor explosion. We also tried the salmon, delicious, and probably some of the best fried perch I've had!
BEST fish fry I’ve had in decades. Excellent cocktails and friendly staff. Nice, casual atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!
The sign on the entry read please be patient, we are short staffed . We almost didn 't enter. We did go in, there was a bartender, server, cook, one guy doing it all, and four older gentlemen playing cribbage. They were fine and not loud. We sat down and immediately received our drinks. We had a few questions about the menu that were answered promptly. One in our foursome is pregnant and ordered the sautéed shrimp poboy. The server must have noticed her condition and informed her he could keep the spice level low and put the aioli on the side. She said that was very spicy and glad he did that for her. The chicken shawarma sandwich was good as was the grilled salmon. We would return the next time in town.
Stopped in and had the Friday fish fry while traveling up to Door. Perch fry was delightful tender, moist, and light/crisp tempura batter. Menu stated the perch was freshly caught locally. My dad thought the cod fry he had was average. Venue has a number of casual tables in a room situated next to a bar. Green tartar sauce tasted fine but was a little odd looking (the kind of thing I do to entertain the kids on St Patricks, but not that appealing otherwise). Chef coming to check on us was nice.
