Thario's Kitchen - Carpinteria

We stopped here serendipitously while returning home to Ventura from the Santa Barbara airport. What an amazing find! The owners and staff are warm, friendly and very caring. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is like going to a relative's farmhouse for dinner. This will be a go-to for us.

My family and I recently dined at this Italian restaurant. They offer indoor and outdoor seating options. The outdoor patio is charming and reminiscent of European dining spots. We ordered lasagna, beet salad, and a delicious pasta dish that my sister absolutely loved. The restaurant also offers a variety of bar drinks, wine, and beer. The service was excellent, with the owner even taking the time to chat with us. We would definitely return to this fantastic restaurant.

Great little gem. Outdoor seating is great. Food is excellent although be patient as food takes awhile to get to the table....no big deal on a nice evening with the right beverage.

Quaint little beachside restaurant nestled between Carpenteria and Summerland, nice patio, friendly helpful service. Food on the other hand a little bland. Started with the Bruchetta , the tomatoes compose delicious, the pesto ricotta bland. Same with the lasagne, it lacked flavor. Chocolate Bites taste lite cake, not Brownie and the chocolate mousse even though that taste delicious the presentation lacked as it was served in a disappointing plastic to go container. Will try other items on the menu next time and hope for the best as the location and severice are worth it.
