Ocean Fish - Castle Point

Love the fish and chips here and also the option for chinese. As my kids normally like the Chinese and I like fish n chips Win Win!

We love the Ocean Fish bar! The fish and chips are always fresh and tasty. The Chinese is really tasty. We had our reservations as it served both cuisines but they are both equally as good. The only negative is that they do not take card and the nearest card machine is quite a trek if you don’t have a car.

Some of us wanted fish and chips while others preferred Chinese food. We thought we had found a winner, but we were very wrong. The Chinese food was terrible at best and the chips were limp and soggy. Despite living only 3 minutes away, the food was tepid. No one enjoyed it and we ended up throwing it all in the bin. It was absolutely rubbish.

The food is amazing here, the chips are the best in benfleet and the sausages are so good. The only negative point I would have is they don’t have a card machine and haven’t done for many years. Cash only.

Not only do they serve delicious fish and chips but also great Chinese food. The only minor drawback is that you have to pay in cash so we had to make a hasty dash to the nearest cash point !
