Sumittra Thai Cuisine - Charles Town

I have a wonderful lunch with my son. We were treated with free spring rolls that were divine. We also shared the KaNomJeeb Todd as an appetizer (delicious)! I had one of the daily specials, the Massaman Curry and my son had the Pad Mama with cattle pliers. Everything was exceptional as the very attentive service. The atmosphere was as charming and quiet as we arrived early for lunch. I would consider this Thai restaurant one of the best (if not the best) I have ever visited. I loved the Thai room on Connecticut Avenue, which unfortunately closed many years ago and it seems that I always look for another good Thai restaurant. I just wish that would be closer to my home in Alexandria, Virginia!

Sumittra was absolutely amazing. It will take a lot to surpass the meals we had here tonight. We were quickly welcomed and sat and our server was so sweet. Service was so friendly and our food came super fast. The regular Thai chicken pad was the best I had and comes in large portions. The drunk noodle had amazing sauce and customizable spice levels that was perfection. I love the atmosphere here and the decor complements the experience beautifully. 10/10 would recommend this as a must.

Salad was fresh and tasteful. Pad Thai was delicious and the curry with tofu was absolutely amazing! Customer service was great, they were attentive and very friendly.

I have eaten in many Thai places and this is hands down for absolute favorites. The food should die every time. The staff is friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this place. I never got anything from here I didn't love. The drunk noodles and PA Nang Curry are amazing.

Ok, so I was skeptical becuz I'm I'm a foodie a food blogger but this place was AMAZING! The crab ragoon which they called crab star, OUT OF BOUNDS! The strawberry dipping sauce sent it over the edge! The pineapple fried rice, omg! Then took the Pad See Eew home, good lord! Absolutely D-lish!
