Applebee's - Chelsea

What a disappointment. The service was incredibly poor. We were practically the only table in the restaurant and the only table our server was responsible for, yet she seemed overwhelmed just taking our order. It took a long time for our drinks to arrive, and my wife's dinner was made incorrectly three times. To top it off, the bill was also wrong. Now I understand why there weren’t any other customers here. We definitely won’t be returning. Service: Dine-in; Meal type: Dinner.

The manager never came over to check on us after we discovered a hair in my child's food. I had to send my meal back a second time because it was prepared with onions, despite my request for no onions. The server abandoned our table, leaving our drinks empty. After the second time I had to send my meal back, it seemed the staff assumed I didn't want it recooked, so they didn't remake my food. Ultimately, I ended up without dinner. We were the only table the server had, and she got overwhelmed and stopped coming to us. Another server ended up handling our checkout. I was quite confused and frustrated by this experience, especially considering we were never rude or disrespectful. The manager did offer a discount on my meal, but only after I mentioned I never received it, and he never addressed us personally. This was the worst service and food we've experienced at Applebee's. We won't be returning.
