Leona's - Chimayo

Best burrito I've ever had. If you don't believe me, give it a challenge. Leona's is on/near the santuario property and was a real treat to find while visiting.

I've visited over the years, and she always had a few bags of molido in the back. Then she passed, god bless her soul. A couple of months back it looked like they were updating the store, I hope it's not true that they are closed.

This place has the best Mexican food ever you will love it and it has a beautiful scenery.

When, I get my NM Hatch red green chile cravings I call Leona's and place an order for a few months supply of posole, red and green chile. I receive my package within a few days, shipped to Manhattan. Thank you, Leona's Restaurante de Chimayo!! You're always fast, friendly and so delicious!
