I stood at the counter about 5 minutes before anyone helped me. A few girls who worked there pretended to be busy and didn't want to help until another girl came from the back to help.Food: 3/5

This place was really nice before the lockdowns. They’ve been phoning it in Ever since. “Fresh” fruit is moments from rotting when served. The “mango” smoothing clearly had not been made with real fruit. They serve pretzels with no dipping sauce. The food and service is an expensive embarrassment and it’s quite clear none for their employees have any pride in what they do. They also don’t have table service.
Haven’t dined in in a long time since seating has been unavailable since the pandemic plus I have moved to Jersey since. I was on the island for the day and decided to stop at one of my most favorite places. Food is still great! I was disappointed with my in-dining experience. When you walk in, it is very confusing on what to do or where to go, no clear signs or postings. It looks like a farmers market upon entering. Apparently now, if you want to sit and eat you have to order at the counter and they bring you the food, which is fine but there’s no clear menu anywhere, I’m sure you can ask for one. I decided to get my tried and true Perfect Egg Sandwich, which is perfection. When it was handed to me at my table, I got it in a to-go container, not on a plate, which those of you who have gotten this before know that it is notorious for falling apart because of the soft biscuit. Very hard to grab and maneuver out of the container. Lastly, this has now become a great place for parents to come and ignore their screaming children running around and hiding under your table. It has changed in the past 10 years but the food still holds up.
Generally good experience, always go to this store for a cake for a special occasion in my family. Except when we recently picked up a cake from the store for my sons BD, as we are eating it, we are discovering that there's hair in the cake. 2 pieces of long hair.To the managers/owners: PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CAKE MAKER IS COVERING HER HEAD HAIR!
