I feel that the restaurant is a bit cold that night, not enough heater, but the ambiance is perfect for our celebration. the food was ok, and i must say i liked the beef steak with pork ribs, that was yum. the breakfast buffet needs to add more of the food choices.
A Bit DisappointingThe three scallops we were served as a starter were very chewy. My husband had the duck which he enjoyed but was disappointed that the skin was not crispy. My grilled fish was grilled fish served on a mound of linguine and no vegetables. I noticed that people were ordering side dishes of salad and veggies and I realised afterwards that none came with the main dish. For the prices they are charging you should expect a good serve of veggies on your plate. We also waited about 45 minutes between our starter and main course which was annoying when we could see others being served who had ordered after us.No massive complaints but it meant that we had an OK night instead of a special night, we were expecting better.
Service was great. Food was amazing. Family friendly restaurant with amazing views. Food quality was high well-presented and the portion sizes were good. Service staff were nice but not very attentive. In my opinion at Muscats the best meal and best deal is to go for High Tea (as compared to lunch dinner – ala carte)....it’s faultless and choices are endless. They serve an extensive array of savoury and sweet dishes with Tea and champagne. The only complaint downside was – we ordered few coffees, and the coffee were a disaster, not pleasant at all.
Went to muscats for New Years Eve. Wanted a quieter atmosphere to take a 2 week old newborn. It was the right choice. Enjoyed a peaceful 3 course dinner in a quiet and comfortable setting. Food was fantastic but service could be improved. Coffee was very bitter and told that it was because it was decaf. Overall though we were happy with the experience and food.
Muscats is a nice restaurant with little faults. The ambiance is very nice, dimly lit and can be quite romantic. The entrees were fantastic, the apple complimented the kangaroo perfectly and was very enjoyable, the tortellini was very nice, just very small. The beef fillet was cooked well and had complementing sides, the duck was quite disappointing, it was overcooked, the potatoes were really dry and the sauce was to sweet for the dish. Desserts were phenomenal! Highly recommend getting each of the spheres! Customer service was good, we had a wonderful friendly waitress, though the restaurant manager was not impressive at all, walked around like she owned the place and when she offered our bill, she took another 15 minutes to print it
