Orchards Of Concklin - Clarkstown

This restaurant used to be one of my favorites when I was growing up, so I was really excited to take my daughter and husband there. However, when we arrived, I was extremely disappointed to find out that they were charging $16 per person. I can understand if it were per bag of apples, but per person? That didn't make sense to me. For the three of us, it would have cost $50 just to pick apples, which is far too much. I really don't understand why anyone would be willing to spend that kind of money.

I've been visiting this place for years. It's convenient for picking up a few essentials like bread, milk, juice, and cheese without having to go to a big supermarket. Yes, the prices are a bit higher, but it's not ShopRite or Stop & Shop. I'm happy to support a local business.

The apple cider donuts are absolutely amazing! The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, and the selection is well-kept and generous. It's always a family favorite spot for a snack or for picking apples and pumpkins.

I recently purchased an apple and peach crumble pie from The Orchards at my local farmers market, and I was quite disappointed. The pie not only appeared undercooked but also tasted that way. The following week, I returned to buy a plain apple pie and mentioned my concerns, but received very little response. As I was leaving, another woman shared that she had a similar experience with their pies. Additionally, the apple pie was terrible as well! It tasted and looked like it had been filled with applesauce.

This small farmers market offers a fantastic variety of products. The apple cider and apple cider donuts are delicious. It's definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!
