Criterion - CLUNES

Decided to stop in a for a feed seeing how this establishment had a many good reviews about the food and dining experience. My take on this establishment.Service was slow considering not many people were dining in. Food was okay but nothing to talk about again. Could have had more potential.We noticed the owner being quite harsh towards the workers. Sad to see the staff having to deal with this.Shame to see another hospitality venue in a small town act the way they do towards there staff and give attitude to customers.

Very nice place, pleasant staff and good food and great coffee

I can’t fault the food and it came in rapid time …. A lot of money has been spent on fitting this business out and it looks very slick…. More south yarra than country vic perhaps… it was the absence of any connection to customer that prompted a 3 Star…. It was very much a transaction event… and I could of got that at the local servo

Had a great breakfast with my family, waiting staff need a little gee up but overall it was good.

Very modern, industrial look Cafe/ Restaurant, with orange brick wall down one side, with the tallest mirror I've ever seen over a fireplace. Hubby had the Pork belly burger and chips, but raved on about the best chips he has had in a long time. Only suggestion I could give, is maybe add a little salad to the meal as it all looked very dry. Best thing I loved was the coffee!
