However, if you stick to the daily specials, you'll get your food quickly, and it's quite filling! The red curry is creamy and not too spicy. The portions are generous, so you're likely to have some leftovers. Lunch cost me $8.50 for two choices from the daily specials, a side of rice, a Thai egg roll, and a drink.
When I arrived, I initially felt that the prices were a bit high given the atmosphere and location. However, once I tried the chicken pad Thai, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. This place is definitely a winner for me!
I had the coconut soup, which I typically know as Tom Kha soup, and it was fantastic! I ordered the medium size since I wasn't sure how spicy it would be, and it turned out to be excellent! The portion was quite generous as well. The place was spotless, and the service was incredibly friendly. While the spring rolls were decent, they weren't the best I've ever had. However, my husband really enjoyed the Pad Thai!
By far the best Thai restaurant in Colorado Springs. I and my wife (the Thai is) have tried all Thai restaurant in the city and no one compares their kitchen until we found Thai Guy. If you like Thai food, you won't be disappointed.
Quick Delicious. Pick up orders take about ten minutes to get ready, the food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. The only thing I noticed is that nothing was very spicy, but I attribute that to being located right outside of Peterson and likely having many customers with a more mild palate. That being said, they have all the right spices and sauces to heat it up, so make sure to order in some heat if you like it that way. I'll definitely be returning frequently.
