Ernies Cafe Steak House - Columbia

This is by far the best breakfast we've had in Columbia so far, and my boyfriend and I are actively seeking a regular spot. The prices are reasonable and the food is well-prepared. Our server was friendly and attentive, constantly refilling our coffee and checking in on us. I especially enjoyed the decor, particularly the pattern on the booths. However, my eggs were slightly overcooked and the hash browns were not cooked to our liking. We may just need to adjust how we order next time. Overall, this restaurant is a strong contender to become our go-to breakfast spot.

My wife and I are new to Columbia and have been checking out different eateries for about a month now. We've come to like Ernie's really well. We like older style places and Ernie's certainly fills the bill. Excellent breakfast choices (try theBoone County ham and eggs) and delicious lunch choices make for great eating. Service is extra friendly and always quick. Great food, great people, great diner environment and reasonable prices...what more can you ask for?

This restaurant offers delicious and affordable food with exceptional service. They have a diverse menu available all day and offer more customization options than other places I've visited. I can confidently say that the burger I had here was the best I've ever had in my 30 years of life, and I've had my fair share.

Stopped in and had breakfast this morning. What a treat! The eggs were cooked perfectly. The hashbrowns were browned and the bacon was delicious! The service was quick right on! I would recommend stopping by. It was great.

The brunch was delicious, quick, and the service was friendly. It couldn't have been more satisfying.
