Feedback gevenIn a small hamlet in the vicinity of lamalou the baths come to make a small stop in this restaurant, you will taste a good cuisine, the flavors are there, the dishes will be served by a friendly and professional staff all in a bucolic setting.a this time prefer the terrace overlooking the valley. Really a heartburn for this inn.
Lunch from 6/8/2017. always as warm welcome to the boss and wife of the talented chef Jean-Marc (according to the opinion of "dominique l'accueil glacial ! were we in the same hostel????). Claude's only sour and soft, then? Once again, we have spent a great time in this wild and relaxing place. difficult to understand some negative opinions regarding the inn of combes when you only visited a few rare breweries (including those cited in lamalou that you know well)., and that nothing finds thanks to his eyes. what then do you say about the cooked foie gras on the syrup braise with inimitable taste, or coche ham with its cep butter, as we would like to find in all the good scutters? (plats taken from the slate whose collegien has a very beautiful writing and without errors unlike the above-mentioned opinion... (photo will follow). excellent cheeses and superb local wines with glasses. this table remains a safe and must-have address, and real amateurs don't mistake it! We recommend it warmly!
We had the €32 set lunch which was excellent. 2 choices of each course with a mise boucle as well. All freshly prepared and of excellent quality. Very little English spoken but our limited French was enough to get by. The view from the terrace where we ate was stunning across the valley. Great place and definitely worth a visit.
This inn located on the heights of lamalou, offers a breathtaking landscape from the terrace...It's better to book so much the deserved reputation is slender even in the week.Just installed that one of the servers offers us amuse mouths, explosion of freshness and aromas, which wake you taste buds. note that the cellar offers at very acceptable rates of superb local wines. I chose the risotto of the lotte accompanied by gambas and shells (photo). and I don't regret this choice so I've been enjoying myself. all home desserts are of the same level: superbly presented and delicious. Finally a mention for the service: in particular a young Tristan that all restaurant owners would like to have; At ease, kind, competent... no worries for the future of this boy!So, an address above the lot, both geographically and qualitatively. I also advise you not to choose the table with its high chairs made of wood and wrought iron impossible to hold two hours sitting.For what is the dishes and the map we have opted for a 32-euro menu (entrance, dish, cheese,dessert), a mouth-catching to start quite ordinary. Two slates mentioning the dishes of the moment, not at all put forward by the server at the command socket and visibly written by a collegiate. I found my entry, duck cover, my dish without inspiration and a very classic dessert (carpaccio of pineapples or baba with rum )the bof cheese...In total correct cuisine without more, with a special mention for the well-stocked and quality wine menu.
