Little Kobe - Cookeville

The Cookeville Roll is great and the yum yum sauce is great!

Went there yesterday and started off the soup tasted off. The salad was meh. Waited forever to get my food. When it arrived the rice was cold the scallops were cold and very under cooked. I spit it out didn't even try anything else because I was told that the shrimp wasn't cooked and the chicken didn't taste right. Then when we said it was inedible they charged us for the soup which was still sitting untouched on the table, the salad and the drinks. It was so bad that we just went home because we lost our appetites. If I could give this restaurant a negative I would give it a it ruined my night off say if you're looking for good food this definitely isn't the place you want to go to. If you want possible food poisoning you might get that here.

My shirmp was undercooked, including the vegetables. The chicken tasted horrible as well. Basically, I took 4 bites of the meal and couldn't finish it. They still charged us for the drinks and salad. Unbelievable!

Strange. All the negatives I have read did not exist when I came to eat. I always try to give a place a chance and not go off what people say. Everything was clean. Service was excellent, flavors were spot on for real Japanese (not Americanized overly sugary flavors). I enjoyed my meal. It reminded me of my Aunt's flavors (when she owned a Japanese restaurant) which was little blast to my past. My son is a very picky with his food, and he loved the upon and filet mignon.

Wonderful hospitality. Delicious food. The Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box was top notch. This is a great restaurant.
