Red Hook Cajun Seafood (bartlett)

Eating tastes very watered in comparison to previous experiences. the butter didn't seem like butter at all, like maybe some kind of vegetable oil with diluted flavors, but the server was polite and fast and delivered great service. I forgot his name (lighter häuter kerl with dreads.)

It was calm and quiet when we entered to try the restaurant (about 8:00pm). After we ordered, they began blasting a basketball game on all of the TV's. I'm not a sports fan. And, I did need a water refill. Still, a memory to talk about later.

Save your money, time, and taste buds! The only good things I can say is that our server was great and the beer was cheap. We ordered salad (basically lettus and a tomato slice served in a paper bowl), gumbo (watery rice and broth with small indistinguishable meat chunks), raw oysters (ate 2 and was too scared to continue), and boudin balls (mush filled lightly fried balls). Honestly the worst food I have had in a long time including fast food restaurants.

I went there last Saturday or Friday and ordered 2 weekend specials. One mild red hook special and one extra hot red hook special. Mild was for my kids. Also a chicken nugget meal for my toddler. Mine had no spice in it at all. I payed over 103 and some change for the meal and y’all couldn’t pay attention to add spice. The whole purpose of me going to you all was for spicy authentic seafood. I took the L because I don’t live in Bartlett. I suggest wolf chase red hook. Never again.

When I first opened this food I was not happy with the portions compared to what I paid. This was the WORST $15 I have EVER spent. Crawfish tails was so bland and had NO FLAVOR at all. Fried oysters was under cooked. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!
