The selection was abundant, featuring endless quantities of bacon, sausage, eggs, oatmeal, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, various meats and cheeses, Chobani yogurt, breads, pastries, and dry cereals. I tried a bit of everything and ended up feeling completely stuffed! The buffet also included an omelet bar and a freshly made waffle bar, both of which I took full advantage of. My wife ordered the French toast, which was phenomenal for those who prefer a sweeter breakfast. Made with brioche bread, topped with berries, cream, syrup, and all things delicious and buttery, it was one of the best French toast dishes I've ever tasted. On day two, I chose the Chilaquiles, which consisted of freshly made tortilla chips topped with scrambled eggs, queso fresco cheese, ranchero sauce, and sliced avocado served in a cast-iron skillet. It was amazing! Although the waitress warned me it was spicy, I was all in, and she was right. I polished off the entire plate, relishing every bite, though I was definitely sweating by the end. My wife loved the French toast so much that she ordered it again on our second day! It really is that good. The service was attentive and friendly, and for coffee lovers, they offer great roasts. Overall, I was very impressed with breakfast here. The views in the morning were also stunning, with natural light pouring in through the glass windows and ceiling, all while overlooking the bay.
During my stay here, a family member and I decided to dine at this restaurant. We were seated quickly at a table with a beautiful view of the marina. Our waiter, Christine, provided exceptional service right from the start and was very attentive throughout our meal. To my surprise, the food was quite good for the area. When our dishes arrived, they looked fantastic and tasted even better. Christine even asked me to cut into my steak to ensure it was cooked properly, and it was perfect. My family member thoroughly enjoyed her crab cake and claimed it was the best meal of her trip, and I have to agree—my meal was also excellent. In fact, I found it better than the steak I had at another steakhouse on the top floor. When the bill arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was under $70. If you're staying at this hotel, I highly recommend dining here, especially if you can't make it to the Republic of Texas; you won't be disappointed.
The crab cake was excellent, but the flounder was a bit dry. The ribeye was cooked more than medium, but we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary dessert to celebrate our anniversary. The service did take a while, but the romantic ambiance made up for it.
Great breakfast. Beautiful view from the dining room. Service and food were on site.
