I had a wonderful time at this bar! The music and atmosphere were fantastic, and the people were incredibly friendly and fun. The drinks were affordable too. I highly recommend checking this place out!

On my first night visiting Corpus, this was my first stop. Like many others, I checked the reviews beforehand, and despite some honest but negative feedback...

It's like a second home to me. Since moving to Corpus, this place has been there for both my good and bad days. I've never had a negative experience; if anything, they always make an effort to take care of you whenever they can.

The bartender, whose name I didn’t catch, was a friendly guy with dark hair and cute glasses. He was polite, quick, and had a great sense of humor. Despite the place being super crowded, he handled the rush all by himself and I never felt neglected or overlooked, even while sitting alone among what seemed to be mostly regular patrons. If you're not from the area, this bar is definitely one that catches everyone's eye as soon as they walk in, which was amusing and not intimidating at all. I got the impression it’s a popular spot. As others have mentioned, the cocktails were strong and reasonably priced, which I really appreciated! Just a heads up: they have a $50 limit on card transactions, so it’s a good idea to bring cash. I’d never encountered that at a bar before, but it didn’t put a damper on my night. The crowd was diverse, with people from various races and age groups, which I loved. I’m not sure if Sundays are typically Latin nights, but there was a lot of Spanish music, which added to the atmosphere. I ended up ordering tequila to match the vibe. You don’t need a fancy outfit—just a casual look and a good attitude will let you enjoy the night in this fun environment!

My partner and I visited the place three times. The first time was just for a quick drink to check it out, and then we returned a few times after our dinner date on Friday. Our first visit was fantastic—I love beer, and my partner enjoys Bacardi and Coke. The drinks were perfectly poured, and both the bartenders and staff were friendly. Our second visit was equally enjoyable. However, during our third visit, both my partner and I were approached by two guys, which was a bit odd. Despite that, I still give the place 5 stars. My partner thinks we might be too friendly and end up buying drinks for people we just met, but why can’t we be friendly without any expectations? One suggestion: they should show some Major League Baseball games because we would definitely come back more often, even if we usually watch them at home.
