Their pastries are delicious and the bread is phenomenal. I wish we were driving home the same way and could stop by again and stock up on the walnut bread. Thank you!

Pastries!!! Try the flaky croissants, kouign amann roll, salted chocolate rye cookies, beef and potato hand pie. Delicious!

The Little Red hen doesn’t open until 9AM, which is fairly late for a bakery, and it’s closed Monday-Wednesday, but if you do catch this sweet, little spot when it’s open, treat yourself! The bakery specializes in delicious bread and croissants made from locally grown wheat! Everything is made on site in small batches, ensuring it’s super fresh. They bake some of the best round loaves of wheat, sourdough and rye I’ve ever tried. Little Red Hen also serves drip coffee, but not lattes.

Sadly discovered this gem a bit late in the day, but the cinnamon roll and the apple-wallnut cake were amazing! Will visit again!
