Tavern Bistro - CRADLE MOUNTAIN

We were very pleasantly surprised by our meal here. The prices were quite reasonable considering the premium location, and the portions of our dishes (the Cradle Burger and Chicken Carving) were large and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, I would rate the food a 5/5, the service a 5/5, and the atmosphere a 5/5. Highly recommended!

Very overpriced drinks and pizza was quite subduing and cold when served. friendly staff

Came here for dinner on both nights as Highland was fully booked. Over the 2 nights we had: chicken Parma which I thoroughly enjoyed, it wasn’t dry and it was a good size. Salt and pepper calamari buffalo wings macadamia cheesecake (this was ok) pizzas (garlic prawns and meat lovers), garlic prawns was tastier of the 2 pumpkin soup

Good stopover for a meal while exploring the trails. Food is alright. I ordered the salmon and the porterhouse steak which were both overcooked.
