Black Salt Cafe - CRAWFORD BAY

We have driven by this restauramt any times and never stopped because the exterior is a bit "unique". Thus time we were looking at Trip Advisor and found it is the top rated restaurant in Crawford Bay so we tried it out. The interior is also quite unique but comfortable and friendly. The food is great and it was very busy. Looks like it is the place the locals eat at.

My family and I walked over to the Black Salt Café on Sunday before heading home from Starbelly Jam. We sat down on the lovely garden patio to sip delicious coffee and hearty flavourful breakfast wraps. My daughter (who's a real croissant connoisseur) devoured her croissant with homemade preserves. The staff also was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for this fantastic moment and we sure will be back for dinner as the dinner menu looked the most appealing!

In small towns the food can sometimes be sketchy, but this was not the case. We were a group of five and ordered many dishes to share, and everyone agreed that every single dish was delicious. The most popular dishes for us were the filo pastry, the Caesar salad, French fries, and the salmon wrap. On the way out I even grabbed a cinnamon bun for breakfast the next day, but it only lasted a few minutes in the car as I devoured it – it was just too good.

Good menu with a variety of options. Everything was excellent. Especially the Blueberry Chocolate Muffin and Death By Chocolate desert.
