We dined with three generations of our family, including a vegetarian, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The waitress was attentive and provided detailed explanations of the ingredients in each course. We definitely plan to come back again!
My partner and I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The food at COYA is decent, with great presentation and flavor. However, the owner/cook's rude and disrespectful attitude towards customers is completely unacceptable. It is shocking that someone in the hospitality industry could behave in such a manner. We were treated with disdain and even aggression simply because I had a dietary restriction (which was clearly noted in the original reservation). We do not recommend this restaurant. There are plenty of other fantastic dining options on the Northern Beaches that offer excellent service.
This restaurant in Cromer is a hidden gem. It was a delightful surprise to visit this modern and charming restaurant. The service was fantastic and friendly. The aromas from each dish that was presented during the 13-course tasting over 3.5 hours were indescribable. My favorite dishes were the Scampi Fromager d’Affinois and the zucchini flower. Thank you Kit for the wonderful hospitality and Ashraf for the amazing dining experience. I enjoyed watching you create these dishes and I love my new cookbook.
The food was usually good, certainly not bad, but it just lacked something to make it great. Most dishes were really beautifully presented, but the flavors did not follow. Pricewise it was really good value; that was the six course.
Every item on the degustation menu was a masterpiece. It felt like we were eating piece of art . When you go out for a meal you need to be satisfied that the experience is one which you will remember . We will remember and...we will be back . Thank you
