Shell - Cross Plains

We stopped here for gas and to use the bathroom. It was pretty busy, but there were plenty of pumps and they were all in good working order. We felt like we got a good price. The bathrooms were clean, although I think the sensor on the automatic faucet was broken- we couldn’t get it to work for more than a millisecond, so it was pretty difficult to wash our hands. We ended up getting some snacks- they had a really wide selection of souvenirs and treats and candy- especially some local brands that seemed interesting. It was fun to browse the merchandise. The cashier was personable and joked around with us and made us feel welcome. We also got some fried chicken and okra from the deli counter there. The chicken was plump and juicy and tender, but the fried okra had gotten a little soggy- I like it more crispy, but it was what you’d expect from fried okra at a gas station restaurant. My husband still gobbled it up.

Had to wait in line for gas because people buying gas parked thier cars at the fuel pump to go inside and buy fireworks! Womens Room floor needed cleaning. Urine on the floor in the stall.

Ok, bathrooms are small so the ladies room had a line going.

Stopped to get gas and use the bathrooms!!! But all bathrooms NOT Working???? Wish we would not have started filling up for gas. Go across the highway to the other gas station. They were awesome!

There is no hot food here. No Charlie Biggs Chicken. I just left. Didnt buy anything. I wa ted hot food. All they have is candy and chips.
