Very impressed. two of our party had the 38 euro menu, two had the 53 euro one. Both were pointed notches, with amuse-bouches (cold sweet soup) and mini (boozy) sorbets. the garnels in a foie grass sauce were original and delicious. main court fish dishes. were fresh and delicious. superhaft finished with cafe gourmandises. the service was impeccable. should definitely have a Michelin star.
Excellent! This is our friends favourite restaurant in the area. Lovely friendly staff with great service. Great value for lunch. 3 fabulous courses washed down with a local rosè.
From the enthusiastic welcome from cheerful host Bruno to the Cafe gourmand, we had the most delightful evening. The setting is lovely, by the banks of the Canal du Midi, with a wonderfully shady terrasse. The staff is cheerful and energetic, and the service very...friendly. And the food...delicious. every dish was just perfect. The amuse bouche was a chilly soup with all the flavors of the garrigue. The starter, eclair de fromage de chevre, was very original, with delicate flavors, and very cool. The main dish, tournedos rossini with two types of foie gras, was perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth. To conclude the cafe gourmand was well balanced with pieces of fruit and tiny desserts. The price is not cheap but reasonable given the quality. Definitely a winner.
Excellent food and service, choice between fish and meat, French Foie Gras was excellent, big choice of local wines
