Brooklyn Dockside Deli - Crystal River

The food was good the place nice right by the water, I am sorry this place closed down but I know allot of locals stop going in because every time you would go to pay the girls would always ask you to leave them a tip, you can go to any sandwich shop in town and NEVER have the deli counter person ask you to leave them a tip, that is just so rude when they ask that, if someone wanted to leave a tip they would they should not be asked to leave on for take out food, I hope you reopen and train your deli people to not ask people if they would leave a tip.

Best food/sandwich shop in Citrus County! This beautiful gem sits right by the water and you can sit out back while looking at the bay enjoying your meal. They also have plenty of inside seating.Everything, and I mean EVERY. SINGLE. THING is homemade. The pasta dishes are excellent, they have amazing potato salad! I love the Rueben (of course homemade) and the egg salad sandwich. A very popular sandwich is the “Brooklyn Bomber”. People travel from all over to get that one. The also have chips, cookies, homemade desserts and the best Boar’s Head meat. They make incredible taco salad and chili; again homemade. I’ve tried many things on the menu and each time the food is fresh and excellent!Lastly, their customer service is top notch. The owner is a beautiful, kind person and always greets you with a smile. In my opinion it can be difficult to find a good sandwich shop that offers other items. You definitely want to stop in and eat here. Prices are very fair and they even offer deli meat (Boars Head) by the pound to take home.Thank you Brooklyn Deli Dockside for all you do. The food, service, kindness and especially how clean your place is could not be any better!!! You’re the best kept gem in the county and surrounding areas.Side Note: there is a Brooklyn Deli in Inverness, Florida. I believe they call it “Brooklyn Deli ‘To’” not sure why ‘to’ is spelled that way. Keep in mind the Inverness location is NOT owned by Dockside in Crystal River. In my opinion the Inverness deli is not the same as Dockside. Especially the owner Reba/Rita…her customer service isn’t great like Crystal River. I’m not here to bash Inverness though….Many just prefer Crystal River. Many thanksKatie and Kyle Petty

Food is always good, people are always smiling and friendly. Atmosphere is good. Prices are decent.

Absolutely top-notch breakfast stuff can be found here. And their lunch sandwiches are pretty tasty, too.

Always a positive visit or delivery. Huge portions for your money.
