Macfarlane Lantern - Cumberland

The food here is delightful, and the takeout coffee is outstanding. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for both a quick lunch or a laid-back dinner. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the positive experience. I would give it a solid 4.5 stars. I highly recommend trying it—you’re unlikely to be disappointed!

I asked them to make me a Toasted Cheese Sandwich, and they delivered with flying colors.

Horrible experience. We went in for lunch and found that the warming trays were still set up with food from Sunday breakfast. An extremely large man, likely the owner, went over to the trays, grabbed three ham steaks with his bare hands, and returned to his table. He then ate all three steaks one after the other, using his hands. On a positive note, the fries were good.

Nice little hidden away spot, like family atmosphere, owners are really nice and come chat with you.

We absolutely loved this restaurant. We stopped for a quick breakfast, plus this place has a great vibe to it!
