Delicious and very nice

On a bike tour we stopped for lunch in Cellino. The restaurant is located in Darmstadt Kranichstein in a small shopping center. The outdoor area is nicely decorated, clean and very quiet. As soon as we arrived we had the menu and could order the drinks. The menu is not particularly large, but has everything I would expect from an Italian restaurant. There was also a daily menu with, for example, home-made gnocchi and chanterelles. After ordering, a small greeting came from the kitchen. The food was also served quickly. Unfortunately, the base of the pizza we ordered was burnt. He 's even more annoyed that the pizza maker saw this because parts of the base were cut off...that 's not possible. Notice to the staff was dismissed succinctly ... I have to let the kitchen know... . The part of the pizza that could be eaten was really tasty. The gnocchi with chanterelles was also good; Portion a bit too small for a hungry cyclist. Unfortunately, there was also a negative point here: the grated parmesan that was served was already past its prime. The conclusion is mixed and very heterogeneous. Positive the fast and friendly service, the nice and quiet ambience and the 8m principle good food. Unfortunately, it wasn 't the chef 's best day with clear and unacceptable weaknesses.
