The service was impressively quick and friendly, even though I probably looked like a tired zombie and ordered in a similar fashion.
This will be the last time I visit this restaurant. The manager lacks customer service skills, as they took 10 minutes to understand my order and still got it wrong. This has been the only bad experience I've had with Marco's Pizza.
The sauce on both pizzas was overly thick, despite my request for light sauce, and it wasn’t very good either. The cheese was rubbery and tasted like a cheap five-cheese blend. The crust was excessively thick—certainly more than necessary—and it had the texture of cardboard. Most of the pepperoni was concentrated in the middle, with only a few pieces scattered more than two inches from the center. The slices were cut so flat that I had to cut them myself to pull them apart. Overall, the pizza was disappointing in every respect. The cheese bread was also subpar, consisting of about 95% bread and only 5% cheese, using the same cheap cheese as the pizza but even less. As negative as my experience was, I’d still give it two stars because I’ve had worse, but not by much. The wings were decent, but not enough to make me want to come back for them.
TERRIBLE QUALITY AND TERRIBLE FOR SERVICE. I ordered a luxurious pizza and some wings. I asked to do everything. What I got was a pfefferoni pizza that they threw on the deluxe. I could say that the toppings were added later, because the pizza was cut before they sliced the toppings. The wing was pale and undercooked. When I tried to complain, was the first thing that was out of the mouth of the guys that we didn't send pizza like that? If you're messed up, say you're messed up, but don't worry that I'm the liar in this story. He said he'd reimburse me. My advice, eat somewhere else about Marcos.
The pizza here is delicious, definitely the best chain out there. However, if you could remind your staff to put a full spoonful of sauce on the medium pizzas that would be great because sometimes they short change you. The picture I posted below is the ideal amount because the sauce is spread evenly and thick enough that you can?t see the crust below it which I think should be a rule of thumb for your pizzas as I find when it looks like that the balance is perfect. But, besides that the pizza is perfect just the odd time it can go from a 10/10 to an 8/10 if you don?t use enough sauce.
