Excellent location. We nipped in for lunch and the food was lovely. Fish and chips were great my turkey and ham were good, the turkey was dry. I wondered if their Chef Konrad was one I worked with years ago in Bundoran? Their staff were exceptional especially young gentlemen at the bar wearing a mask.

The hotel was busy upon arrival in the lobby. When walking back to the elevator, the hallway was not well lit. Upon entering our room, I put my purse on the small round table and the table top fell off. My husband looked at it and it had been rescrewed on many times. We let the main desk know right away just so they understood we did not break it. We said we did not need the table but wanted them to know. The staff said that they would have someone fix it right away as it was not acceptable to have a broken table. We went out to the castle, shopping, and drinks at Old Castle Bar, which was great, and a wonderful dinner at O'Donnell's Bar. Upon return, the broken table had not been touched. The room had other worn and less mantained items. It just was not what we expected. Breakfast buffet, we took a tray that was not clean so returned it. Took a glass for juice that was unclean. The staff was nice at breakfast. I believe it was all clean. The location was great. The town was great. I don't like to give a lesser review, but our stay was a disappointment on our two week trip.
