The Gateway Lodge,donegal Town

Just checked into this little Gem. Such incredible value. With hotels now charging well over €100 €200 this little Gem is just lovely at a very reasonable rate.. beautiful Beautique hotel, lovely decor, cosy warm room and very clean and thoughtful finishings. Absolutely lovely place to stay over if you are ever visiting Donegal

Perfect place to stay when visiting Donegal Town. Just a short walk to the town centre. The fob entry is great when coming back after 9pm in the evening. The room was bigger than expected and very comfortable. Breakfast was had in Blàs and was delicious

We were recently on holiday in Ireland, including in Donegal. We were very disappointed in the place. The hotel, on the other hand, is a pity that we can only award 5 stars for the service (hotel staff), they definitely deserve more stars. So nice and helpful, even in the middle of the night. The rooms are also really nice... All thumbs up...

This place was great. The service was amazing, we had questions about where to eat and what to do and reception had a list already made of great places. We even needed to use a computer and they helped us find one. The hotel is walking distance to all downtown has to offer and was allover a great location for our stay. I could here the sounds from the street, but unless your naturally a light sleeper that shouldn't be a problem.

Excellent food, service and ambiance, highly recommended.
