Good tasting food mid to upper price range but well worth itFood: 5/5
The tamales are salty and dry. I had high expectations because they are from Guadalajara and the food there is delicious. Unfortunately, dining in is even more disappointing. The coctel de camaron has shrimps smaller than the ones that cup-o-noodle has and they only give you four pieces. Seriously! And the burritos are small and salty as well compared to the photo the menu shows you. The food is also overpriced. I paid over $40 for two plates! Way too expensive. Would not recommend if you are very hungry.
The breakfast was good and I will go there again however I didn't like that we had to order from a tiny window and wait outside for our order in the rain. If it wasn't cold and wet then it wouldn't have been an issue. Besides that good food.Food: 4/5
If you blink you'd miss this little gem, but aren't those the best places? I'm a bit of a tamale snob but this place puts my worries at ease. If you're looking for favorable tamales, this is your go to place. It's small but that's what I think is what sets them apart. Oh and Spicy means SPICY!
