I am somewhat surprised by the ranking on tripadvisor when compared with the other restaurants in this city. my opinion is picasso probably the best choice they can do when you are...18, 25, 40 or 70 years old! the caffe appeals to all. the personal is and was always friendly and efficient. and they notice whatever their order is (no write). ok: some of the foods could have been better, but that is actually the case for most restaurants in this city. picasso has a special atmosphere. what I think is the main reason that picasso is often fully booked. they have one or two tables free (not in the position to reserve). picasso is very recommeded for singles, couples, families and friends througout the year.
I recently visited with customers and colleagues for business lunch. eating is good, cheap and the service super.
I recommend the boboli black and boboli chicken to eat for lunch, and the ice cream with real house made egg above. in summer the backyard is a great place to relax.
The garlic cake is dry, the pasta is overcooked, the hen was dry, and the nachos are prefabricated on the morning. this restaurant is actually very cozy, but eating is not good at all. I had the garlic bread as an appetizer, and next to being dry, they almost had no taste. they were served with something I think was mayonaise, but that didn't taste much. for the main course I ordered a big nachos. the size of the part was great, but it tasted nothing. the salsa was boring and had no spicing at all, neither the meat/bean. I asked the waiter and he admitted that they cooked their whole meat on the nachos every morning. I also asked about the seasoned, and he told me that the cook had feared to season it up (but come!. afteros should have at least one of them! my partner had served the fattyuchini mexicana, pasta, ckicken breast in a chili sauce. the pasta was overboiled, and the chicken was really dry and we suspect that this must also have been precooked and reheated. the waiter was nice and friendly, even after we criticized eating. he was a little strange, but as he said we had eaten well, despite the fact that none of us ate anything because it wasn't good. this restaurant has been there for about 30 years, and I cannot understand how if they serve this type of food. I think they make her live as caffe during the day, and bar in the night. the acoustic in this restaurant is bad and it can be a bit loud when there are many people who are at the same time. no good value for her money.
