The focus of our entire stay was the entertainment of the waitress with a woman sitting at a table at the entrance and perhaps also an employee from the service, a former employee or the like. The whole stay was not a restaurant visit, but an involuntary game. We ordered a Latte Macchiato and two dishes. In the following three quarters of an hour we waited for food, we learned everything about the recreational design of the two women, about their friends, colleagues and about one that they always called Daddy who was supposed to be boss or chef. We sat several tables away. But since it was so empty in the guest room and the waitress with a conversation partner so loud, we could not help but listen to the embarrassing stories. We didn't even tell you about the crazy start of our visit and the unpleasant end... Often we can make our photos look even more beautiful than they are. But here in Borowski on Prague's street was simply no longer possible. The alternatives we had on photos of these foods were not better either. What happened to the restaurant? We had it three years ago in our restaurant guide, it was still okay. But this time? The atmosphere was already “stationary” by the call of the waitress. There are now much better restaurants at every station when we saw Borowski this time. The two women slept, we waited for a three-quarter hour and then got such a "smooth" on the plate. The long waiting period was no longer time to eat. We wanted to pack the dishes quickly and had to wait forever. Meanwhile, the waitress's partner went to the kitchen (so an employee?) and slept with the cook. Meeensch! It was a bullshit! We cried with the clock. Haaaalllllooo! Can we interrupt? Coming to Borowski was hard. For some reason, there is no scanner here, but you control the date in the Corona Warn app and pay attention to the third vaccination. So far, so good. The problem: We asked where to find it in the app. The waitress didn't know where she was in the app. She wanted to send us away. Then we explained how it works. Then we were added. That then went on, that we had to write our data on papers. Why not just log in? Luca or the WarnApp? Well, now it's done. From next week everything goes back to the restaurants in Saxony. Then it can not take 15 minutes before you can even take a menu in your hand. Since we had to wait 45 minutes after the order, we only had the food after an hour (at almost empty space we had to put it in and take it along. So fast a photo and then away. We waited a long time to pack and go. Is it worth giving up so much patience? No! At least not for us. The food did not tempt us so much that we would accept the embarrassing conversations of the waitress, the waiting time, etc. This penne with roasted salmon fillet (with tomatoes, peppers, herbal cream sauce and smoked mountain cheese costs 14.20 euros.
Perfect location and great breakfast / brunch. to complete everything, love that they can dine huge balkon in the summer outside. great amount of fresh brise and sun! love it!
Beautiful place to sit outside, they are over the road and in the position to watch the world past, the service is good and the food and drinks are brilliant, and the apfelstrudel was for dying, and all this for an excellent price. I would recommend this place to everyone.
We found this place almost randomly as it is hidden up there. it has an external balcony where we have dined the first night, but in the next night we have thought up because it was cooler with a stiff brise, the service was not the fastest, but. we were not in a hurry and equipped with the ambiente of the restaurant. the food was at a reasonable price (euro 35 for three courses and two pint beer). we had a dessert both nights, first the apfelstrudel with vanilla sauce. it was the lightest apfelstrudel I ever had and was absolutely delicious. the second night dessert was a walnut nougat cup that was just as delicious. I would definitely recommend eating here.
We had dinner last night at this place; it was very nice to sit outside in the 2nd floor to look over the prager road. Eating was good, more than enough and well presented. price was fair, 1 entree, 2...3 drinks for just over 42 €
