Tim Hortons - Drumheller

Tim Horton's seems like an iconic place in Canada so we thought we would give it a try. We were expecting table service but it seemed more like a McDonald's without hamburgers and fries. We ordered at the counter and then waited to take our paper wrapped sandwiches back to the table. One toasted cold cut sandwich was pretty good but the BLT was pretty awful - cold bacon on a cold, moist French roll. The potato wedges were particularly bad, soggy and barely warm. Maybe this was just not a typical Tim Horton's but I doubt now that we would try another.

Stopped here for tea and a muffin. Tim's makes great steeped tea, and this one was no exception. Friendly staff and the tea hit the mark. The muffins always a good re-fueller! Clean and serviced amenities too.

Each day we travelled around our stop through the Drive through got us our Ice Caps. Appreciated our daily boost

Our visit occurred on a Saturday around 1pm. We did find a table but service was the poorest we have had in all the Tim's we've visited. There was quite a bit of background noise which made hearing the server rather difficult. It would have been more helpful to give out numbered tickets for food pickup as everybody waiting for their orders were looking puzzled if there order was up or not.The server could have used a louder voice to give the order number to the customer. The garden salad was the selection made. On pick up one of the salads was all over the bag not in the container. We immediately handed it back to get properly made.When we opened our salads we found the lettuce was in large whole leaf not cut or torn into bite size pieces. We have had many garden salads in other Tim's and this was the worst presentation. Though liking Tim's some improvements could stand to be made here.

No toilet paper in the women's washroom plus inefficient and disorganized set-up behind the counter. Lengthy wait for simple wrap while employees unapologetic about it.
